Technical Skills:
· Good knowledge in Routing, Switching and Wireless Technologies and Security products.
· Should have good troubleshooting and hand on skills in Cisco routing, switching, wireless, SDWAN, IPSec and SSL VPN, ACL and security policies.
· Knowledge of Cisco and other Network device Hardware architecture.
· General knowledge of Packet Analysis and debugging (Wireshark, Clearsight, tcpdump…)
Strong experience in
- OSPF, EIGRP & BGP routing protocols
- LAN, MAN, and WAN design and implementation
- Frame Relay, PPP, DSL, DMVPN, GRE, IPsec VPN & MPLS VPN troubleshooting and Implementation skill
- QOS & Multicasting Understanding and Deployment
- Cisco routers, Datacenter Nexus switches Nexus 2K, 5K and 7K, 6500, 4500 catalysts and Stack switches, ASA Firewalls and VPN Concentrator, Wide Area Application Services (WAAS), Cisco ACE Load Balancers, Cisco IronPort proxy
- Network monitoring and management tools like Cisco Works LMS, Cisco NCS, Vital Suite, Wire shark, ASDM, and Checkpoint
- Fault management with service providers which includes fault registration, trouble ticket initiation, follow-up problems till resolution, and escalation with service provider higher-ups based on timelines and responses.
Other skills
