Required skillset:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about writing clean, maintainable code and creating an elegant API backend that can help us grow our company.
● At least 3 years of experience working on an API for mobile app or web products. We’re also big on agile methodologies. So far, our production tech stack uses:
o RESTful JSON-based APIs
o Java based API with Springboot. Using Postgres as a database.
o Our infrastructure runs in AWS (having experience with AWS is a plus)
● Drive strong collaboration with other engineers and managers to understand pain points and iterate on great solutions in tandem with business goals.
● Ability to learn and be productive on new technologies.
● Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field.
● Resourceful, opportunity-oriented self-starter and creative problem-solver
● Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently. Nice to have skills:
● Experience writing code using TDD.
● Experience in Devops handling infrastructure with AWS like: EC2, S3 & Containers (Docker)
● Knowledge on use of Postgres.
● Frontend skills: Handling JavaScript and the
MUST HAVE – Should have exposure to building b2C products, great comm skills, start-up experience, and Extrovert.
