Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead end-to-end implementation, upgrade, or rollout projects across SAP modules (ECC or S/4HANA). The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and successful delivery of SAP engagements, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Delivery Manage full lifecycle SAP projects including implementation, migration, rollout, and support transition Develop detailed project plans, define scope, allocate resources, and manage timelines and budgets Ensure adherence to SAP Activate or ASAP methodology (as applicable)
Stakeholder Management
Act as the single point of contact for client communication and stakeholder alignment Conduct regular status meetings, governance reviews, and escalation handling Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather and validate requirements
Team Leadership
Lead cross-functional teams including functional consultants, technical developers, BASIS, and integration teams Drive coordination between onsite/offshore teams Monitor team performance and provide guidance for issue resolution
Risk, Compliance & Quality
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively Ensure compliance with project governance, change control, and documentation standards Drive quality assurance processes across project deliverables
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and financial summaries Maintain detailed project documentation for audit, knowledge management, and handover
12+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 5 years focused on SAP projects Proven track record of delivering SAP ECC or S/4HANA projects (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Rollouts) Strong understanding of one or more SAP modules (FICO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, etc.) PMP / Prince2 / SAP Activate certification preferred Experience in Agile or Hybrid delivery models is a plus
Key Skills:
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong leadership, planning, and conflict-resolution capabilities Familiarity with tools like SAP Solution Manager, MS Project, Jira, or ServiceNow Budgeting, cost control, and vendor management experience
