Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect with 8+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise cloud solutions. The ideal candidate must have very strong, hands-on expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), along with working exposure to Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). All relevant hands-on experience — architecture, migration, security, networking, and DevOps — should primarily be on AWS, with familiarity in Azure/GCP considered an added advantage for multi-cloud awareness.
The Cloud Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, infrastructure teams, and clients to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS-based cloud solutions that support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable, highly available, and secure cloud architectures on
- Lead cloud transformation and migration initiatives from on-premises environments to
- Define AWS cloud architecture standards, governance, and best
- Design solutions for compute, storage, networking, databases, security, identity management, and disaster recovery on AWS.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to deploy cloud-native applications on
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments on
- Optimize AWS environments for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost
- Ensure compliance with security standards, governance policies, and industry best practices on
- Troubleshoot complex AWS infrastructure and application
- Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams on AWS best
- Work closely with clients to gather requirements and recommend appropriate AWS cloud
- Maintain working knowledge of Azure and GCP to support occasional multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud discussions and integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, or Cloud Architecture, with the majority of hands-on experience on AWS.
- Very strong, hands-on, in-depth expertise in AWS is
- Working exposure to Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is desirable but not the primary requirement.
- Experience in designing enterprise-scale cloud solutions on
- Strong understanding of AWS networking — VPC, load balancers (ALB/NLB), Route 53, VPN, Direct Connect, security groups, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools).
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of AWS security — IAM, KMS/encryption, monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, Prometheus, or
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or
- Knowledge of AWS cost optimization and FinOps
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management
- Strong communication and presentation
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional/Associate (strongly preferred).
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification) is a
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Architect certification) is a
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments, with AWS as the primary
- Experience in enterprise cloud migration and modernization programs on
- Knowledge of serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions) and
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI
